Beautiful. Ethical. Impactful. It is with great pride that we present this one of a kind Lace necklace, set with a fully traceable, responsibly sourced amethyst from Moyo Gems.

Moyo Gems works with artisanal miners -many of whom are women- in Tanzania and Kenya to track gems from mine to market. Meaning 'heart' in Kiswahili, Moyo empowers miners to work safely, improve their financial security, and access new fair trade market opportunities.

This 3.36ct emerald cut amethyst was mined in Tanzania by artisanal miner Wales and faceted in Chiang Mai, Thailand by artisanal cutters. This richly hued purple gem rests in a pillowy bezel setting on our Lace link chain. At front, a hand-applied high polish finish on the setting matches the eye-catching glimmer of the gem's elongated step-cut faceting. The pendant reverses to a luminous satin finish, with an engraved starburst centering a sparkling pink sapphire.
